cgi-mailer is a simple system enabling users to have HTML form input formatted in a user-defined way and sent to an email address, without needing a new CGI program for each new HTML form or any user access to the cgi program. cgi-mailer does not need to reside on the same server as the HTML forms that use it, so you only need to install it once for your entire organisation.

ReadyForm is a Perl script that handles the email messaging of Web form results submitted by visitors to your site. Though this is typically accomplished with existing software from your web host, ReadyForm offers a friendlier, more informative email message and includes a built-in "thank you" page. This program also has support for email programs that thread messages (i.e., put messages with the same subject indented under the first message). It also provides information such as IP address and the type of browser used to access the site.

Any users who have versions of FormMail prior to v1.91, including the popular version 1.6, should upgrade immediately. v1.91 plugs several more spam-related security holes. The following fixes have also been implemented since v1.6: prevents unwanted access to environment variables and problem of receiving e-mail while using the redirect option. The script has two extra arrays (new in v1.7) you must define, but will not affect current forms or the way they appear after having been submitted.

Many of the programs we have produced since then have been small, "utility" type applications for specific website projects. Applications such as visitor guestbooks, form processing, log analysis, frameset management, link indices, etc.

Due to the common situation that many ISPs cannot run AutoMail Lite, we offer a remotely hosted version of this script here. AutoMail Lite does not run on Windows NT servers, or on servers that do not have the proper PERL modules (mime::tools) installed.
