Dave's Form Processor Script, written in Perl for use on both UNIX and Windows servers, is designed to collect user information from multiple online forms. The script also has the ability to append the appropriate flat-file databases and send an e-mail message containing the results of the form submission.

FM SiteMail is a form mailer that uses the unix/linux program: sendmail. Anyone who wishes to contact you via a form, simply goes to your website and chooses an option (from eg. a "contact us" button/picture/link). This loads, for example, contact.html - The user/person is then asked to specify his/her enquiry/problem. After the user has submitted his/her enquiry, the form mailer will send a confirmation email notifying the person that the email was received. (Auto Responder.)

It is especially designed with Perl newcomers in mind, and features extremely easy set-up; overall simplicity; crystal-clear, uncluttered code; and thorough instructions. Perl veterans will also appreciate it as a solid, general purpose fast-install e-mail script, with everything required included in the download.

AlphaMail.pl uses a form (supplied) to receive information from someone wishing to send you an e-mail (i.e., name, e-mail, message).

When the form is submitted, the information is sent to your e-mail address, including a date stamp. At the same time, the applicant receives an automatic response confirming the submitted information, with a copy of his message and a brief response from you.

The script automatically filters to be sure all fields are filled and that the e-mail address is present and properly formed. If fields are left blank or the e-mail address is malformed, the script sends the visitor to a (supplied) error page, with instructions on correcting the form error.

Assuming all fields are present and correct, the user is sent to a Thank You page (supplied).

Please note that these free Perl scripts are unsupported -- we simply don't have the staff to help you with Perl questions, as much as we'd like to do so. Every server's a little different -- so read your server documentation carefully
