ASPDidYouMean provides international spell checking for search queries. You can easily integrate this functionality with your web site, intranet or portal.
The component closely resembles the "Did You Mean...?" feature seen on Google and Yahoo!
ASPDidYouMean is used on major public search engines, and is load balanced and tested for such heavy use. It is, however, also very much at home on small web sites & intranets.
It supports over 10 Languages. You may also build custom dictionaries & link it in to databases

managed to luck into Simon Gibson's ASP search script while looking for a viable solution to enabling searches of our online Policies and Procedures. Because they exist in Microsoft Word format, I thought I was looking at an SQL solution. Once I discovered how easy Simon's script was to set up and how well it worked, my search was over. I was very impressed and it made me look impressive."

ASP Site Search is a 100% Pure ASP Search Engine for use with any site hosted on the Microsoft IIS platform (Windows 2000 or above) and supporting ASP.
Because it's 100% script, there's no requirement to register complex dlls or install software. This makes it ideal for searching static pages with your hosted ASP sites! (please note, this product is not suitable for use with dynamically-created content such as Database-driven sites)

Ideally suited to small sites with less than 250 pages, ASP Site Search scans your site with every search - meaning it's totally Maintenance-free. So there's no need to "re-index" when you update your site!

framework for a mostly complete search engine. It uses ASP to access a database via ADO. It is completely setup and just needs a nice interface (i.e. web page).
It is relatively simple and straight forward and is ready to be extended upon. It supports basic boolean operators 'AND' and 'OR'.

search engine application implements page search functionality on a site. Each page is indexed on a database, where the search is performed.
Sites are usually organized in sectors (as an example, this site has 6 sectors) with several pages each. The search engine allows for the grouping of pages in Classes, each reflecting the site organization.
For each page there are 4 field types to be filled:
Page Name
Page Web Address (URL, Absolute or Relative)
Page Class
Keyword List
Since page URL can be absolute or relative you can index pages from other sites you may have.
Keywords are searched at any of the fields, by any one of the following criteria (in simple search you define which criteria to be used):
Sentence: Pages with the exact sentence searched
All words: Only pages that have all of the searched words
Any words: Pages with any of the searched words.
The application have two distinct interfaces, one for the end users (for searches) and other for the webmaster (for administration and page indexation). The administration tasks are made on the web itself.
