This guest book is an adaptation of Request info and save it to a file script, but in this case the number input fields has been reduced to the needs in a guest book, and the access to the information provided by users is not password protected. This is also a copy and paste script, so in most cases, you will only need to copy the code in the tables bellow to get it working in your server.

Name, eMail, Homepage and Comment (HTML is stripped out)
IP address of Visitor is saved and can be views at the Admin area
Anti-Spam Mode: a Cookie avoids more than one entry per day and the IP Blocker avoids more than one entry after the other from one IP address
Bad Words Filter and Blocker which replace Bad Words or block the Entry
eMail to Visitor and Owner (adjustable, uses JMail Component)
Admin area for editing and deleting of entries and adding comments to entries
HTML not allowed
MS Access-2000 Dataabse (DSN-less Connection)
Language File for easy translating
Freeware as long as used according to the License Agreement

CrazyBeavers Shoutbox was initialy written to provide this site with a simple shoutbox but it was very little effort to add some extra features like templates and a simple admin area.

The script support either access or mysql databases to store the shouts in so there shouldn't be any problems running it under ChiliSoft! ASP.
