No one can disagree regarding the importance of documentation. Despite of this fact, software development documentation are not always produced as it should be. Many reasons can be proposed for this fact but regardless of all these reasons, the most contributing reason is the attitude of software developers themselves! Yes, this can be easily accepted if we recall the fact that many software development projects are late from their schedule and that software developers are typically stressed writing the code itself ..... Cause I think we have all been on various VS2005 presentations where the presenter has dragged some CreateUserWizard, LostPassword control etc onto the form and with no code at all created a rolebased access system for a site. I have been on such demos for the last 10 years, and never gets that impressed anymore. I know that in reality it's never that easy, something needs to be tweaked for it to fit the requirements of your customer - and tweaking a framework model (compiled classes) is seldom easy, compared to changing pure code.

The Microsoft .NET Framework, more commonly known as simply the .NET Framework, is a software development platform created by Microsoft.
